Noordwijk aan Zee, a coastal town in South Holland, is also called the floral seaside beach (bloemenbadplaats). This is because of the annual flower corso in April and the fact that the town of Noordwijk aan Zee is just a few kilometers from the famous Keukenhof. With 1,000,000 overnight stays a year, Noordwijk aan Zee is a favourite touristic place and still a natural jewel of the North Sea coast.
